I have been a photographer for 20 years, shooting video for 5 years, and almost always doing self-portraits. I've trained over 35,000 people and run two blogs with an audience of over 70,000
How this course came to be.
Three years ago, one of the largest travel companies invited me to give a master class on photography and video.
For three days I showed many different photography tricks and at some point I realized that there was no one to photograph ME.
I didn't want to ask the people at the event, so I decided to take some pictures myself, just by holding my phone in different places, even without a tripod.

This was my first step towards taking pictures by MYSELF and EVERYWHERE I wanted.
To be honest, I don't really like it when people take pictures of me. I'm not shy, I'm just uncomfortable. And if I don't like the result, I don't want to say anything to avoid hurting the photographer's feelings.
I feel much more comfortable with a tripod. No hard feelings.
That's why I've been so fascinated by 'self-portraiture' that almost all of my photos for the past 3 years have been taken by myself, using only the tools available.
Knowing all the basics I just needed to experiment more, find interesting angles.
My students and followers were always asking how I took pictures of myself, so I created a course on how to photograph yourself independently.
